Estremoz White Marble

The Estremoz White Marble is a white coloured marble, with thin to medium grain and a slight brownish coloured vein. It may present some occasional light pink / brown coloured areas. In terms of hardness, this is a fairly hard natural stone. Its main variations depend on the vein intensity, as well as type of white background and structure.

Undoubtedly the most famous white marble of Portugal, with a well developed market in Portugal and abroad. Nevertheless, this has been further explored marble with only a few quarries currently extract. Current and future availability reserves are both very limited, and the production is very low and exclusive.

Finishings

The best finish for Estremoz white marble is polished, highlighting its beautiful white color slightly veined. It is also common to find other finishes such as honed and bush-hammered.

Applications

The Estremoz White Marble can be applied in virtually all locations, it is common to find it in coatings for walls, floors with medium to high utilization, stairs and benchs
