Moleanos Limestone

The Moleanos Limestone Fine is a beige coloured limestone, with a slight greyish tonality, thin grain and several brownish fine spots. It presents some discreet signs of fossils throughout its surface. Its main variations depend on the colour, grain and amount of fossils.

The Moleanos Limestone can be found basically on any type of application. It is common to find this limestone in flooring with moderate use, cladding, stonework, masonry, interior decoration applications and many others.

Due to its hardness, the Moleanos Limestone is considered as a combat limestone. It can accepts pretty much any kind of finishing and is one of the few Portuguese limestones that accepts the flammed finishing.
