Rosal Limestone

The Rosal limestone is a light beige with thin grain and uniform background. It presents some slight dark shades/clouds. In terms of hardness it is considered a soft natural stone. The main variations have more or less vein, or are cut in favour or against the vein.

Finishings

The Rosal Classic accepts well only certain types of finishings, due to its softer nature. The ones we most recommend are the honed and polished ones, as well as the bush-hammered or scratched.

Applications

The Rosal Classic is a preferential limestone to be used in applications such as cladding, coverings and some stonework. Due to its uniform colour, it is quite appreciated in large projects.

Below we present you three of the most common types of Rosal Limestone that are currently available in the market:
Mármores do Poço Bravo - Rosal Limestone
Compression strenght: 490 Kg/cm2; Bending strenght: 94 Kg/cm2; Porosity: 12,6%
